Helping people pull themselves up out of difficult situations requires looking at situations first and people second. People cannot be successful in difficult situations if they don’t have what they need to be successful in those situations.

Set a Step 1 standard of focusing on situations first. Different situations require different boots.

Set a Step 2 standard of focusing on straps that fit the boots. Different boots require different straps.

Get people the boots that fit the situation with straps that fit the boots, and they’ll have what they need to pull themselves up.
